Little Switzerland Ski Area is back, and we're so excited to bring you great skiing and snowboarding. Variable frequency drives will not only provide smooth operation, but will save lots of energy.  Fresh paint gives the lifts a fresh look, but most of the work will go into parts not as visible. The mechanical parts and safety systems have been gone through, and the safety circuits completely re-wired.  The lifts are upgraded to meet or exceed the most current chairlift codes. The quad chairlift on the Chicken Bowl has been replaced by two variable speed handle tow lifts, providing a great learning area.

While a few key ingredients of the lodge remain, such as the Swiss style and one of the big fireplaces, the lodge has been gutted and completely remodeled.  Highlights include a beautiful new bar and game room upstairs in the all new Swiss Chalet.  The lower level houses an all new pro shop, new ticketing area, completely redesigned rental designed to maximize efficiencies and minimize time spent inside, along with a new ski patrol room, and an all new cafeteria.

Come see how much fun Little Switzerland can be!
