Sundown Mountain offers 21 trails, two terrain parks and features for all skill levels (Including 7 easier trails) and interests.

Sundown is the proud recipients of 6 Awards of Excellence from the National Ski Areas Association and that makes them the only Midwest Recipient of this honor over 6 years. Sundown Mountain has a higher vertical (475 feet) than every other resort in Illinois, Missouri, Minnesota south of Duluth and all but two in Wisconsin. ·The emphasis here is fun, with free ski corrals, timed racing and live music on Saturdays. To prepare, relax or watch the action, there are two top lodges that overlook scenic trails set amid cedar forest. In addition, you will find 7-acre terrain parks for active skiers and snowboarders with rails, jumps and boxes for all tastes that are updated frequently.
