Overlooking the Ottawa National Forest, Indianhead Mountain Resort is a natural treasure. This western peninsula resort offers 29 trails across 220 acres of terrain, supported by 9 lifts. ·The trails here run up to a mile long across this natural landscape with 95% snowmaking coverage. On site, you can find a ski and repair shop to gear up and a ski school to get yourself going. ·Among the other amenities offered here: a half pipe, terrain park and a tubing park for a different kind of experience. While 21% of the hill is marked as easier, 42% of routes are most difficult, so no matter how much proficiency you possess, there is fun and challenge. Cross-country skiing is also offered here for those who wish to remain horizontal and traverse the natural landscape.
