About
One hour west of Minneapolis, Minnesota you will encounter Powder Ridge Winter Recreation Area. At the top of the 60 acres of runs, you will find a fantastic vista in all directions. Served by three chairlifts and five surface lifts, Powder Ridge has 15 trails, the longest of which has a length of 1600 ft. and a vertical drop of 300 ft. There are two terrain parks on the slopes here and a half pipe awaits. 40% of the runs here are marked as easier so even those just starting out will have abundant options for winter sports fun. Night skiing allows you to enjoy 100% of snowmaking system covered runs after the sun goes down. Be sure to check out the tubing hill here.
