Great Bear Ski Valley is the #1 place for winter sports in Eastern South Dakota. A family friendly place, Great Bear offers 14 diverse trails, crosses country and tubing to enjoy. The longest run at Great Bear Valley is a half-mile long! Be sure to check out the custom built beginner area where you can find a comfortable place to learn. As far as difficulty is concerned, there is a certain balance here with beginner trails, expert trails and a selection in the middle. Night skiing is available.
